Head Coach Shane Pierce

Brett Bough

Coach Pierce is currently in his 11th year of coaching baseball at Strafford High School. During his tenure as the head coach the Indians have compiled a 166-80 record. They have won 8 Mid-Lakes Conference titles, and 3 District championships. In 2009 the Indians finished 2nd in the state. Coach Pierce has helped to produce several college baseball players including Conner Wilson (Missouri State & Drury University), Blake Lutgen (Valparaiso University).

 

Coach Pierce began his coaching career coaching softball at Strafford High School. He compiled a 139-50 record in 7 seasons. His softball teams won 6 district titles, and made it to the Final Four 4 times and finished 2nd in the state with a 25-2 record in 2005.

 

Coach Pierce is currently working in the Strafford R-VI school district as the middle school assistant principal, as well as the high school A+ coordinator.

 

Coach Pierce is married to Kari Pierce and has two daughters Kate (14), and Sidney (10).

Coach Bough is currently in his 7th year as an assistant coach at Strafford High School.  His duties include serving as assistant coach to the varsity as a pitching coach and work as the JV coach. While at Strafford, Coach Bough has helped guide the Indians to 4 MLC conference championships, 1 district championship, and 1 quarterfinal appearance.  The Varsity has compiled a 103-52 record over the past 6 seasons and the pitching staff's ERA over that time period is a combined 2.81, highlighted by last year's six season low of 1.74.

 

Coach Bough is currently working in the Strafford R-VI school district as a HS/MS PE and Health teacher.  He also serves as assistant basketball coach.

Coach Bough is married to Ashley Bough and has two kids Blair (8) and Drake (6).

Brandon Foley

Coach Foley enters his first year as an assistant coach at Strafford.  He is the head Middle School Coach along assisting the High School.  

 

Coach Foley comes to Strafford after spending one year at Willow Springs High School as an assistant Baseball Coach.  Prior to Willow Springs, he was a student assistant at College of the Ozarks.

 

Coach Foley currently teaches English in the Strafford Middle School and also serves as assistant football coach.  He is currently batting over .600 with his fungo while hitting I/O.  He graduated from Strafford in the class of 2013.  He shares custody of a puppy (Mack) with several people.

Wyatt Eubanks

Coach Eubanks is in his first year of assistant coach for the Indians.  He will primarily work with the Outfielders.  Coach Eubanks is also in charge of the #TweetsFromTheDugout.

Coach Eubanks is currently enrolled in classes at Drury University where he is Majoring in Criminology.

​

Coach Eubanks is a 2016 graduate of Strafford.  He is coming off a BIG Intramural basketball championship and loves taking selfies with his dog.

Chris Peterson

Coach Peterson is in his 12th year in Education.  He is assisting with our Middle School baseball program.  He is currently teaching Science in the high school and he is also the Robotics coach.

Before coming to Strafford, Coach Peterson taught at Spokane for nine years, as well as 4 years as the head baseball coach and 2 years as the assistant coach.  While at Spokane Coach Peterson was the 2009 MSHSBCA Asst. Coach of the Year and the 2010 SWCL Coach of the Year.

​

Coach Peterson is world renowned for his delicious omelets and has shown great marksmanship with his fungo as he  is currently hitting .003.  One ground ball this spring got past the shortstop as he tripped on his laces.
